To clarify, apparently I have no idea what I am talking about and before I get my hand smacked, Tim, I also have no idea what you are talking about.
This thread is an almost pure fantasy piece that is not era-specific related to current issues related to grading, TPGs, eBay sellers with and without vaults, Card doctors, investors and their assets and manufacturers of both rare and not so rare cards. The basic premise is that if all cards sold are trimmed at the factory, then the current “card trimming scandal” in the secondary market vanishes quicker than a green Cobb prop used by a certified sleight of hand magician.
