Cal Ripken Jr.
Day 8 (January 8, 2020 – 008)
On Day 8 I’d like to celebrate #8, Cal Ripken Jr., the great shortstop for the Baltimore Orioles (Cal was #5 in the minors). I don’t have much in the way of Brooks and Cal together (at least that I’ve come across; I’m sure I have a few items), but have pictured a print of a work done by artist Paul LeVine where a Brooks and Cal rendering are within the same piece. Hopefully Bill (roarfrom34), the biggest Ripken family fan, can add something cool to the mix.
