Hey bud, I think most people here use paypal goods/service (3%) cost to you. That gives you the seller some protection. A few regulars ask for friends and family for regular folks who do business OR for low $ sales that the seller is willing to risk losing out on in worse case scenario it does not arrive. Paypal will not help you on claims in which you accepted Friends/Family
A few buyers like to pay with check/mo, this is fine as long as you are willing to wait for these payments to clear, then you can send cards. Good luck. Pretty easy to do a search on members posts to see if they are regulars, etc and to find folks you could pm to ask "Have you ever done business with X" Even with that, I would just about alway use paypal GOODS (Not Friends) and insure your shipments as the PO is known to lose things from time to time.
