2002 Orioles team issued postcards
Not a lot of newer stuff (after 2000) gets posted, so I thought I would post the Orioles team issued postcard set from 2002. It was the last year that Cal Ripken Jr was included, as well the Orioles included a Brooks Robinson postcard in the set.
The postcard of Cal Ripken Jr was a reprint of the 2001 issue, with a minor cropping difference on the front and the addition of Jr to his name on the back. Cal Ripken Jr postcards from 2001-2002 and 2002 Brooks Robinson postcard SCAN9189.JPG SCAN9190.JPG Beginning in 1992, the Orioles went to more action shots and no printed names at the bottom on their postcards. I really never have gotten used to the change and much prefer the head shot style.
