From the many stories I have read, once a player got Maurice Richard enraged, you were going to get knocked out, and most of the time it took but one punch from The Rocket to do it. I remember an old timer describing Rocket's punch was fast as lightning. His General Manager, Frank J. Selke, said Maurice did not look for fights, but he sure as anything finished many of the them.
