SMR hasn't been accurate in decades. They may be closer on a bigger card like that, but still not a very reliable source in 2021.

Where are you getting that price from? Listing was for $17,500 which is still a low price but not as low as what you indicated.

best offer price. seller didn't do their homework. Especially this card is trending upward. Dean's card is not too far away from reasonable. I hope he's not consigning for somone, obviously he's leaving A LOT of money on the table.

Looks like a different Mantle with the same grade sold for a best offer of $22,750 on Jan 19.

This one recently sold for 22754 on jan 19
I would say now should be even more, a PSA1 at clean sweep is bidding at 11k
