I just watched an OJ rookie, listed at NM (and it was accurate), tick down in an auction and sell for $153.... I was going to scoop it up but i did not know the value off the top of my head. I own a nice copy already, but certainly would have taken another for $250 or less.... would have been a steal.

Even more bizarre:

The $150 sale was at greg morris. Compared to a very inferior and worse centered raw OJ that sold for 227 earlier in the afternoon.

It was on watch list, as I like to watch the auctions of cards that I own. but leading up to the auction, i never checked the recent sales prices. As far as I knew maybe it was a $200 card... and I figured there were be a flurry of bidding inside a minute. i am so used to raw auctions going above recent sales, I just assumed there was nothing amiss...
