Someone has to have the worst card posted every day. I'm ok with the fact that it's usually me because otherwise, my collection wouldn't be anywhere near the size it is today.

Sima for today, another one in the eh category.

Most definitely not in the "eh" category. I spent quite a bit of time admiring your card before I read your disclaimer. Your card is gorgeous! Color, registration, lack of creases or staining, all there. The centering is possibly 51-49 (I didn't measure). It's a card I'd be pleased as punch to own (not sure what that means, but old people say it and I'm in that category now).

Thanks, Bob. If you need to upgrade anything from your set, make sure to check with me first since I'm sure I would be able to help you out. I'd probably be willing to do a straight trade with you for any card in the set, especially Mantle, Mays or Robinson.

I'm going to go put my Robinson in my bike spokes and pedal around a bit, just so you'll regret your offer.

You haven't seen my Robinson yet. Can you be sure I would really regret it?

Good luck, Dave.

I'm sure there are far worse looking cards out there in people's collections but, imo, that isn't what's important. What is important is that you are having fun and are able to collect what you can.
Many aren't afforded the luxury of being able to collect anything at all, and that is the way I look at it.
Of course everyone wants 7's-8's and up, wouldn't that be sweet, but the reality is that is a tall order that very few can afford.
My collection is a mixed bagged of grades/condition and I'm OK with that as I can say they're mine. Plus I remember the fun I had chasing them and actually winning them.

My Al Sima for today.

I agree completely, Dale. I don't think I own any cards that I regret buying.

Default 1952 Topps

My card for today. Sima. Love seeing everyone's cards. We are a lucky group to have the cards that we do from this coveted set. I saw a lower grade 1952 Topps set in the current Goldin Auction...will be interesting to see how that does.
