The Orioles last published a media guide in 2018 (due to printing/shipping costs as they got bigger & bigger, information being available on-line, etc.).

My collection/reference library included the majority of their guides and I was sad to see them go, mainly because I enjoy referring to them.

A friend of mine who works for the Orioles knew this and for my birthday, he specially printed up guides (the information is on a stick) from 2019-2021 to keep me current:

Bill,

Well that’s very nice of your friend. Look well presented. I can’t believe they are going away from all the tickets and guides.

Bill,

I can't tell you how jealous I am. I have every Orioles media guide from 1954-2018. I also have many of the season summary guides, especially nice run from the 60's.

I'm with you. Very sad to see printed publications coming to an end. First it was media guides, then yearbooks and now programs. I talk to a lot of people at spring training that really miss the media guides. I can understand the cost argument, but it seems that the majority of the work is putting it together. If the info is on a stick, I for one would gladly pre-order a copy and pay extra based upon the number of orders.

I've tried printing my own copies, but haven't had much luck with formatting on my personal computer. What size are they?

Congrats Bill. Put me first on the list if you ever decide to part with them.

Default One more off the list

On a happy note. I just picked up another program off my list in the attempt to find programs from all the Orioles minor league affiliates 1954-present. I mentioned before how tough it is to find Stockton Ports memorabilia.

Received this nice 1970 Stockton Ports program today. While the 1969 Ports won the league championship with an 81-59 record, the 1970 team did a complete reverse finishing 54-86. The Ports averaged less than 500 fans per game their last three years as an O's affiliate. The list of future Orioles included Enos Cabell, Don Hood, Jesse Jefferson, David Johnson (1975 Pitcher), and Tim Nordbrook.

Congrats on picking up another one. You’re definitely chipping away. I know I’ve started to at least look at these O’s affiliates ow that I’ve learned a bit from reading this thread. Also, most are cool looking…

Default Brooks Robinson PSA Master Update - Items Needed

Greetings. A few recent additions to the PSA Brooks Robinson Master Set. Added the complete 1962 Post Cereral Hand Cut Panel. Not in the best shape. Added the 1976 English's Chicken Lid. Very surprised with the grade. Excited to add this one...only one graded, by the way. Also, added several (6) 1967/68 Coca Cola Bottle Caps All Star A21 Sprite and Fresca; Orioles #3 King Size; Orioles #3 Sprite, Fresca, and Root Beer. Many are population of one.

Also, in search of 1961 Baltimore News Post Hand Cut Scrapbook Brooks. Other years, too.

In search of 1962 Post Cereal Complete Panel Hand Cut from back of box, feacturing Brooks.

In search of 1961 Post Cereal Complete Panel Hand Cut from back of box, featuring Brooks.
