Another nice option in that price range would be a signed card from the 50s. There's a '58 Topps (back references his '57 league MVP award) for 799 OBO:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hank-Aaron-...-127632-2357-0 Otherwise, consider buying the least expensive you can find today, since raw/ungraded versions were selling for no less than 1K before his passing and low graded ones have trended up to 2K. It's the best card of the best player in the '54 Topps set (no Mick) so it will always be the pinical and be the highest in value compared to other HOFers in the set (Mays, Jackie, Clemente, Williams, etc.). Lastly, when Bonds is denied the HOF for the final time, it will effectively nullify his 'HR record/title', thus put Hank back on top as the true HR king, whom achieved it naturally to dethrone the Babe.
