James I’ll second Brian’s thoughts, really nice image of Mick there and a card I’d welcome into my collection in a minute. Nice addition, enjoy it Sir 🍀🍀🍀

Hi Guys:
Picked this up in Chicago. It is a Post Cereal CANADIAN Supermarket display banner. It was intended to fold in half and hang over a wire above the cereal aisle in the Canadian Supermarkets to advertise the cards on the back of the 1962 Post cereal boxes. Sorry for the flash and shadows in the photo This joins my 62 Post AMERICAN display banner shown in the small photo next to the Canadian.

Thanks a lot Jeremy. I always had the thought process- “i can always get one of those”. But.. all of a sudden, 1453 total psa pop doesn’t look like that many with the addition of new collectors. I figured i better just get one before it is really too late.

When you lay it out there like that, yeah the 52T Mantle isn't all that common and not near enough to supply the current demand, let alone future demand for this card.

Man, over a month since this thread saw a bump. How about I bump it up with a Mantle I picked up today?
It's for my 1957 Topps and it's not in the greatest shape as it has a couple of creases (one on the left edge and the other near the top). It's going into my set, but I'll have to upgrade it later. Why buy it if I'm going to upgrade you ask? Because I got it for $100 at the local show today. Probably could've (should've actually) gotten it a little cheaper or at least seen if the seller had gone down a little more). But I'm okay with a $100 bill for a Mantle, especially a 57.

Glad to see another post. I thought maybe collector interest in Mantle had died.
You won't ever regret paying $100 for this card. |
