Ethan, please don't take this as a criticism of your post, but all or almost all of the individual cards in very many (if not most) of the pre-War sets have less than 25 examples known to exist. My pre-War favorites are the real-photo, black & white card sets from 1916, 1917 and 1920-22 with a plethora of advertising backs; there are less than 25 examples known of every card in most of these sets. IMHO, for a pre-War card to be considered truly rare there should be less than 5 examples known to exist.
