Most 1934 Butterfinger grade 1. I have seen some really nice examples graded 1. I think their thinness and fragility just pushes their grade low. When I see a 2 or 3, I'm never really sure what separates them above the nicest of 1s.

They seem to do the same with grading M101-2 Sporting News Supplements as well.
