Your opinion regarding the authenticity of this Mantle autograph is greatly appreciated.

I think it is real, because you would have to be an idiot to forge a signature by giving Mickey a black eye, if your intent was to sell it. Whereas, Mickey is probably not thinking about that when the card is put in front of him.
