I have the same safe. I keep a few of my most expensive cards in there. Of course I also have insurance (through FIA).

If you are worried about your collection than the first thing you should get is collectibles insurance before you worry about RSC. Insurance will cover incidentals and in addition theft which most RSC can be gotten into in minutes if not taken with them.

Not necessarily fire proof, but these do fit slabs well and provide some protection as well as ability to transport them.

I keep a lot of stuff (non-graded) in milsurp 7.62 and .50 ammo boxes. The carry handles are convenient, they keep things out well enough for non-paranoid use. They are waterproof. They stack decently too.

Ammo boxes are great, I use the plastic ones from Harbor Frieght, when on sale they are just $3.99 each.
