On October 26, 1946, 76 years ago, the Great Stadium of Havana was inaugurated, with games between the teams of the Cuban Professional League, Almendares, Habana, Cienfuegos and Marianao, I show two photos, the 1st in the face of construction and the 2nd, an exaltation to the Cuban Baseball Hall of Fame, where Miguel Angel González and Merito Acosta were inducted, these ceremonies were held every year on December 29, BASEBALL DAY, in commemoration of the 1st Official Game of the First Cuban Championship , that day in 1878.1946 Est.
