| Trivia Question

I’ve been asked a trivia question that I have no idea on and I thought I’d reach out to the power of Net54 to see if anyone here could answer it: A major league pitcher is/was married to a woman whose maiden name was PITCHER. Can you name the pitcher and the spouse? Good luck! |

I wish I could claim being that knowledgeable, but it was just a matter of Googling: baseball and "maiden name was Pitcher" Putting the term in quotes forces an exact match.

I guess Molly Pitcher is incorrect.
