Chuck Howley
Chuck Howley was a very solid linebacker on Tom Landry's doomsday defense of the 1960's and 1970's.
He is well known for being the only player from a losing Super Bowl team to be voted MVP. The vote was conducted late in the Super Bowl game when the Cowboys were winning. In the Closing Minutes Colts LB Mike "Mad Dog" Curtis made the game changing interception that resulted in the Colts winning the Super Bowl. Curtis should have been the MVP. He was every bit intimidating as Nitsche and Butkus. With this award on his resume he should have been elected 2 decades ago. He is largely forgotten now.
