If you take a stack of current year Topps cards, place the stack flush on a solid flat surface, you can see that if you look closely the cards are all ever so slightly different heights. They still aren�t all the exact same size. Some variance is normal. However, there is a reason that most of the cards that jump out as short are otherwise nice condition hall of famers.
