Well, whatever you do, I think maybe cutting the cardboard of one off the end and doing your soaking or whatever is only risking one card ( Id try the one with a chunk missing first)...... then if its a Wile E Coyote moment where it blows up in your face, youve only wrecked one card..... good luck!!!!
