Those Balldomes are nice! I personally would use Balldome for more modern signed balls- Golden age through the present (Mantle, DiMaggio, Williams, Musial, Bench, Banks, Griffey, Jeter).
And already use the wood-based cubes for my Dead Ball era through Pre-War players (Cobb, Collins, Speaker, Ruth, Gehrig, Foxx, Hornsby, Gehringer, Greenberg, etc.) Both are great options.
