Possible Wayne Gretzky Autograph Question

Hi-

I bought this Gretzky doll recently. It was purchased in 1999 on eBay (see receipt) from a dealer in NJ. Is the autograph real? I looked online but most of what I found were more recent autographs and the only ones I saw with the dash at the top of the W and the loop on the G were from when he was a teenager.

My gut feel is that it is not good (based on my admittedly poor comparison skills) but I figured I would check. I really appreciate anyone's input on this. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I'm a pretty well-studied early Gretzky autograph aficionado. The one weird thing is the start of the "W", somewhat unusual to see it have that flip out to the left side. But I do like the rest of it pretty darn well.

As long as it is flowing and the writing doesn't look staggered or stuttered, I'd say likely genuine. I can't see the focus of it well enough in those pics to tell how flowing it is.
