This is a great topic and should be on the main page, not the BST section.

In the past, several issues have been incorrectly dated. For example, E102 used to be called a 1908 issue, it is not. I believe Novelty Cutlery PCs are mis-dated. The Reccius Wagner is most certainly NOT a pre 1900 card, and most likely 1907 or after. I suspect there are many reasons a set could be mis-dated but I suspect once the date gets codified on the flip of a reputable TPG, that date becomes gospel, because, as we know, the TPGs are never wrong!
