Default FS: Death of Ed Delahanty letter

Two-page letter written on November 25, 1903 detailing the events of Ed Delahanty's tragic fall into Niagara Falls and subsequent death.

Written to Ed's wife and includes eye-witness accounts of exactly what happened and Ed's final moments.

Baseball HOF worthy document.

$5000

This is incredible and hails directly from the wife’s estate. I believe her name is Noreen (?). I have some documents as well from her estate, very similar to this. Incredible letters and thanks for sharing. These definitely belong in the Hall of Fame!

Yowza. Incredible.

There's something that should sell for a million dollars. Not some stupid cracked ice refractor of some guy in his first MLB season.

Agreed; Insane Piece - if I had the cash, I'd snag this without second thought - seems like $5k is a steal
