I have seen several "real" pinkerton t5 photos unbacked and several t5 originals mounted on all kinds of cabinet stock. Interestingly enough I have seen several of the postcards with the pinkerton images and player name and number that appear to be vintage but not actually a sepia pinkerton photo. I will say I just saw a Cobb pinkerton type postcard that was actually postmarked 1910 . What this actually means to me is that the vintage looking postcards that are pinkerton photo images are vintage from the same time period as the actual photo. |
