Posted By: dan mckee I am quite sure SGC has slabbed this cut 4 in 1 exhibit card as a W517 mini. |

Posted By: Mike Williams I've had/sold mini W517's that were this color (none of Gehrig, Klein and Grove though). Wish we had a better scan! |

Posted By: dan Mike, if they didn't have the dashes on top or bottom, they were probably cut exhibits. The red used by the W517s is much lighter. Dan. |

Posted By: Mike Williams on the Grove and Klein (bottom for both). The reddish color looked real close to the card in the link...like I said, I wish there was a better scan. On a side note, just got the Edwards catalog...some tasty material! |

Posted By: Tim Newcomb that the Gehrig pose used in most or all of the 4-in-1 Exhibits is a swinging pose where he's following through. I know I've seen one like that at least-- but I sure wouldn't pay $500 to this seller for this card.... |

Posted By: dan There are 2 portrait shots on exhibits on page 133 of the 2004 catalog, these are a different portrait but this same portrait is used in the 1929-30 set that comes in several funky colors on the previous page. Dan. |
