I've been on the verge of getting myself a Rose postcard for years (they're pretty pricey), but never have. Will certainly do....does this "rent-a-card" type deal explain any OTHER unexplained phenomena in baseball cards (or SOMETIMES baseball cards)? Seems to stir a memory, but can't quite place it. Of course, blank-backed (literal and figurative) cards provided space on their backs (and fronts, sometimes!) for several ads--sometimes limited (the Sporting News M101-5 and 4) ()Tobin lithographs--front AND back...). |
