An authentic Mathewson cut would go for at least $1,500. Everyone is right-you need to get this authenticated. If the seller only gives you a certain amount of time to have it examined, there are several authenticators who are thorough and have fairly quick turn around times. In all honesty though, unless the seller is providing a money back guarantee you should probably pass. It is a widely forged signature. |
