There is nothing special to worry about buying from someone in Canada. Many vendors will have US dollar accounts, which are available at all banks. Some vendors who don't have accounts will require international money orders only. Letters cost more to mail to Canada.

Probably the biggest gripe from Canadian vendors is that a sale this year is only worth $1.31 instead of $1.63 like last year, due to the fall in the mighty greenback.
