50/60 early cycling images in my travels (although that was ONLY on cabinet or slightly larger MOUNTED images). It looks more like simply an athletic club studio gathering prior to or subsequent to an event. Sort of like their "dress uniforms"..... Not likely to see "white" colored clothes and long leggings etc. in this sport. Fencing and other indeavors more likely but I don't see the horse nor the dogs that would go with the bugle..... Cycling was EXTREMELY popular right around the turn of the century and ANYTHING is possible. |
