Here are a couple for Greg's viewing pleasure. Rare 1918 regular season red sox program and a very very rare 1918 Babe Ruth "Barnstorming Program" that took place right after the 1918 World Series. Ruth pitched in this game! Only one I have ever seen. Also came with a newspaper article that before the game they auctioned off a ball Ruth hit for a triple in the world series and a bat used by Ty Cobb. Proceeds of the auction went to support local Hartford residents serving in Europe in World War I. |
