I will miss the monthly auctions. You say "quality versus quantity," I say "going back to big-ticket items." I loved your monthly auctions because they had quality items that were, for me, affordable. I may be in the minority here, but I cannot drop 5 figures on memorabilia. I liked seeing rarer, obscure items that could be had for under $1,000. Keep the big-ticket items for the catalog auctions, but really, how much did it take to run these smaller, internet-only auctions? I didn't feel they lowered the brand name for any reason. In fact, I saw them as a way to put a big name on a smaller item. |
