T-206 Wagner and Plank on Ebay

After reading this numerous posts on auctions like this, I was curious whether any of these dubious auctions was later found to be legit? I'm not talking a T206 Wagner, but are there stories of some other high dollar cards that went for pennies on the dollar because it looked to good to true or had warning flags all over it?
