Brian - you are correct (and Richard too). I actually believe a few other cartons have been found, originating in Maryland. I'm not sure of the total number of packs discovered, but the later packs were all missing the wax wrapping. Again, they were all post 1917. Probably some early factory working chain smoker hoarded some freebies! |
