Posted By: barrysloate How about the baseball business where the owner dubs himself the president of the company and he is working as a one man operation. But using the pronoun "we" does suggest a business with many people droning away. |

Posted By: warshawlaw When I opened for business and registered my corporate name they wanted me to use the word "office" instead of "offices" because I had only one address, even though I had two offices at the address. I looked up and down the rules for names and could not find any basis for the change, so I said the magic words to the idiot clerk: "let me speak to your supervisor". Presto, chango, my name was approved. |

Posted By: davidcycleback A guy I knew named Andres owned his own person business. He was the owner and only employee, though he did have a company name. He invented and sold a computer telephone gadget. With the directions booklet to the gadget was a telephone help number to call if the buyer had questions. The number was his. A customer called for help and Andres gave the phone help needed. About a week later, the company got a letter from the customer to compliment the quality of the company's phone staff. |

Posted By: Jeffrey Lebowski I dropped off the money exactly as per - look... man, I've got certain information, all right? Certain things have come to light, and - y'know, has it ever occurred to you, that, instead of, uh, y'know, running around, uh, uh, blaming me, y'know, given the nature of all this new ****, y'know, i-i-i-i-this could be a-a-a-a lot more, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, complex, I mean, it's not just, it might not be just such a simple... uh, y'know? |

Posted By: Charles Prawdzik Its simple economics. We's make more money, command more respect, provide better service, etc. than I's. Perception is everything. |

Posted By: davidcycleback My favorite in 'I' businesses was Sherlock Holmes. His business card said simply, "Sherlock Holmes." He was so sure of his greatness that his business card didn't have a job description or even an address. |
