Bogus auctions really irritate me, whether Yahoo or Ebay. Money should never be more important than integity. I hate seeing people ripped off, fortunately I have never been one of them. Usually I'm very careful and do my homework.

I recently bought a T206 reprint doctored to look like a legit card. I purchased the card to educate myself on authentic versus fake tobacco cards. The seller clearly advertised the card as a reprint and Not Authentic. The scan looked legit and even holding it next to my authentic T206s, the card looked and felt extremely convincing, ridiculously convincing. There weren't any differences under a black light, it wasn't until I took a 30X Loupe to it, could I see the suble differences.

There two or three sellers on Ebay that are selling doctored T206 Cobbs, they say that the card has not been authenticated and thus they're selling it as a reprint. These cards are consistently selling for $25-100. I beleive people are bidding on these items with the hope the card is authentic knowing the possibility the card is a reprint. The seller is praying on this false hope. The seller knows for certain the card is a reprint but places hope in the sellers heart; I think it is sad and shameful. I've provided hyperlinks of the final auctions below. I've complained to Ebay but technically the rules are not violated.
