I have been reading this board for less than a year now, but the amount of knowledge I have gained is incredible. When I began asking questions and reading posts I was interested in the T213 sets and their origins and values, etc. Just the other day I spent 15 minutes explaining to a local seasoned collector about a card he had that he couldnt identify in his collection. I proudly went on to explain it was a T213, the Louisiana origins of the set, the types and so on. After about 10 minutes, I couldnt believe I was saying all this stuff and actually sounded like I knew my SH-T!! |

If you didn't end your conversation that way, then you haven't learned a thing...right Hal? |

I agree Rob. Although I haven't yet shown off any of my new found wisdom, I have felt good the few times I have been able to add a "new" fact or insight to the board's broad base. It is good when you can pay back a little, for what you take. |
