Although it didn't make my most visually appealing set list, T206's have a boat load of attractive cards. Here is my cargo list:

If I were to just pick a handful (only the 'commons', as most people know the HOF poses, and I think sometimes our judgement might be muddied by desirability when we consider visual appeal), I would choose the following:

Action poses:

Leifield (pitching) Incredible colors, great pose, classic look
McIntyre (Brooklyn) Pretty background colors, unusual 'coming out of the side of the card' composition, neat uniform detail
Powell Great horizontal shot with extended arms, nice color contrast between sky and grass


Portraits:

Beamount My favorite of the red backround portraits
Wiltse The green background really brings out the sharp features of his face

Konetchy fieling and Leifield pitching are my 2 favorites.I dont have many real high condition t206s but i have a mint Leifield and its one of my favorite cards in my collection

Still one of my favorites. As an artist (well, art director) I appreciate showing more with less. Just the basic features of a player against the background of what was beyond his park walls.

My favorites visually are the action ones with orange skies like the Pattee, Burch batting, Bob Ewing, Deacon Phillippe, Wild Bill Donovan, Joe Birmingham, Ed Konetchy, Cobb batt off, Evers batting, Tinker hands on knees and bat on shoulder, etc. I've got Dineen- another orange sky one- but what's amazing is looking at how they colored his cheeks. And then you've got something like Frank Oberlin with a pink sky- very psychedelic- about 57 years ahead of its time!

I also like the yellowish skies with Pfeffer, Chick Gandil, Tom Needham, some of the classic portraits like Matty, Walter Johnson- and action ones of Matty, McGraw with hands on hips, Germaney Schaefer, Rube Waddell throwing, Cobb bat off. Finally, I like the even more pastoral ones like McQuilan, Rube Oldring- I call those the "Field of Dreams" images with the players in a field seemingly at dusk. Those color schemes and 'pastoral' backgrounds are what also drew me to collect Obaks, even though they were definitely players I wasn't familiar with.
