But I can tell you that many of the photos were re-used from days gone by. The Bill Terry card does not even depict him--it's Zeb Terry from the 1917 Collins-McCarthy/Boston Store/Standard Biscuit sets. An 11 year old or more photo. I have a Sweetman Pie Traynor that I believe was used in a strip card set from several years prior as well. So it seems that the photos for the 1927-28 sets you mention were "borrowed" from multiple sources. |
