Richard, that is correct. The package was totaly destroyed by the post office. The buyer didn't pay for insurance. He filed a claim with PayPal claiming that the item I sold him was not as described. PayPal claimed to have done an investigation, which didn't involve contacting me at all other than a form email giving options that were all favorable to the complantant. They refunded his money, including shipping, which really pissed me off. Because of this incident, I now require all buyers to pay for insurance if they are paying thru PayPal. This only applies to my eBay business, not card sales to board members. |
