I have the same sinking feeling. As a bidder on that lot and with the prices of recent sales of the blue Wagner in mind, I actually thought I had a chance to get it for about $1K less than the actual price. I fear that we have indeed reached a new level of insanity, and there is no looking back. Oh, to have gotten into the pre-war cards a few years earlier...... |
