The folds in it suggested it originated as a magazine or newspaper supplement. Several teams offered similar composite prints, among them the Chicago Cubs for several years at about the same time. My understanding is you could purchase them at the ballpark for one cent, and for another penny they would ship it to you in a mailing tube. At least you can't accuse the Cubs of price gouging their fans. |
