Dan, so your position is that the News writer has a beef against Mastro and that is why he wrote an article quoting a named law enforcement official claiming that Mastro is engaged in shill bidding? Do you think that the prosecutor has a beef against Mastro as well?

All of this innuendo suggests that perhaps Mastro has a libel claim against both the prosecutor and the Daily News. However, I'd bet a considerable sum of money that the lawyers hired by Mastro in connection with this investigation are of the criminal sort and not the First Amendment.
