Several years ago, through ebay, I purchased a 1934 Goudey Carl Hubbell, BVG 5.5 card. Thinking a lock for a PSA 6, I submitted to PSA as crossover with min. grade requirement "6". No go, PSA would not put it into a 6 slab. Still thinking it was too nice a card, I busted it out and submitted raw to PSA. This time it returned in a new PSA 6 slab. Side topic - Hubbell cards seem undervalued - he was quite dominant. |
