Since this thread was posted, and we talked about the pencil marks on the backs of these "ghost back" cards, I have thought this is one time that removing the pencil marks would be an injustice. There is a time and place for everything and taking these off of the backs would hurt the provenance a little bit, imo. The pencil mark stays on the back of mine and my guess is they will stay on the others shown too.....best regards
