PSA Set Registry -- Tattle Tale or Due Diligence

I had about 40 T206 cards on the PSA Set Registry up until very recently, when my entries were removed, without notice to me.

Now, I've made no secret about having cracked my collection of PSA cards out for submission to SGC two years ago. So, if PSA reads these boards, they might have decided to drop me from the Registry since, of course, I do not own any PSA graded T206 cards, yet still had 40 listed on the registry. But, I also wonder if anyone ratted me out without telling me. If so, I'd just like to know who that person is.

Does anybody have any knowledge as to what lengths PSA will go through to verify the set registries and card ownership of its various participants? I had a very low ranking set, given how few cards I had, but still someone thought enough about this issue to have me removed. Who do you think it was?

Or it could be something much simpler.

If you have a low completion % on a set and have not added to it in over a year, they will delete your set. It has happened several times to me.

PSA's stated policy is: "Current sets that are not at least 10% complete and have not been updated for at least 12 months will be deleted from the registry."

...thanks. At this point, I may have enough scans of cracked out T206 cards to get me up to 10%. If not now, then soon. Stay tuned....

because I have heard SGC say that they send the tags to PSA whenever they crossgrade. I believe they do that for each other.

If you are below 10% and you have not added any cards in awhile you are deleted--simple.

Okay I want to know who removed my T205 set from the PSA Registry--confess or I will not let the issue rest.

I seriously doubt that either (competing) party does this. I can't even get them to return them directly to me with my orders so I can forward them to the other party.

I think population reports and set registries are way over emphasized. My relatively good standing on PSA's Set Registry, albeit with only 7.6% completed -- but still with a bunch of PSA 4, 5 and 6 HOFers and stars -- was always an easy way to make this point, since I do not own any PSA graded cards.

I crossgraded, and if SGC sends the tags to PSA, more power to them. I had never heard of that, but it would make some sense, I suppose.

T206--you know there is medication you can take to control the nasty side of you--I recommend it.

Thinking someone cares enough to take your T206s off the PSA Registry--thats one of the funniest things I have ever heard.
