I used to put cards that were in the old screw down holders, in a little sleeve first, before tightening the screws, this pretty much eliminated any chance of later sticking, or particles on one of the two pieces of plastic, from damaging the card. I've heard of "sticking" issues, but have never had it happen to me. if it is an 8 or 9, it should have been in a little sleeve. I'd be extremely careful if it seems stuck. i have damaged a few cards over the years with my fingernails, or thumbnail, trying to pick up a card, or move a card. Good luck. |
