This is my first post and I just wanted to say hi to everyone on this site. I been coming back to this forum on and off for about a month and I find the discussion and wealth of knowledge here just invaluable. I mostly collect cards from the 1950's-1980's, but I do have some pre-war HOFers in my collection and I'm looking to add more.

For the past few months I've been working on a personal baseball card related project and coming
here has helped me very much and I hope it countinues. So, hi and thanks!

Welcome to our board....chime in when you want to and lurk when you don't. I have learned more from this board, except actually fondling my cards.... than anything else since I have been collecting (which has only been 10 short years). This is 2nd only to the National for me....that's a 5 day frat party. Do you know of any boards that discuss early post-war cards, Bowmans, Pre '57 Topps as well as this one does pre-war?? Just wonedering.

There is a Beckett Media Vintage Message Board -- which is pretty friendly -- in which any and all 1947-1979 questions are welcomed
