I live about an hour and a half away (right next to Stonehenge), so I get to London pretty often. I always find myself on Charing Cross Road, just up from Trafalgar Square. There is a great little side street with book sellers and a cigarette card shop (the name escapes me, but you'll find it). There's never been any baseball stuff in the card shop, but it's fun to poke around in anyway. All of the cig card dealers know baseball is big coin, so don't expect to find a hidden T206 stash anywhere. Just enjoy yourself and don't forget to order a chicken jalfrezi at a decent Indian restaraunt! |
