In the hobby, the Ruth is considered a real Ruth baseball card, just not one of his more popular ones. What probably holds it back is it's not American, it's relatively plentiful, easy to get in high grade and it's on paper stock. However, I've owned one and it's a good looking card. Other Pre-War European Ruth cards are also relatively inexpensive. |
